I've also received lovely emails from a few of you and it is good to see you all.
At the same time, I am aware that this format doesn't work for everyone. If you don't have a good internet connection. Or a digital device that is bigger than a cell phone and more portable than a desktop computer. If you don't have the room in your house or the props you need at hand. Not to mention the time and the mental / emotional bandwidth.
I am feeling really fortunate to have this opportunity to teach and to structure my life around my work. Also, to have a virtual community of students and other teachers with whom to feel connected during these dark times. Thank you!
Given that the classes are online, I plan to teach one sequence or a set of poses related to a theme per week. A new class sequence will begin at the Wednesday 11:30 am class and end after the Monday 5:30pm class.
By doing so, I hope to help you practice more effectively and intelligently at home. This is a time when all of us are thrown a little more on our own resources. Perhaps we can use this time to learn, a little better, how to be our own teacher, healer and best friend.
I am going to also write tips for practice, weekly. Please go to my blog to see what I have written about this week's sequence: Yoga for The Immune System.
